Job Description The Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics has a pivotal role in the Technology Leadership Team, responsible for building and leading the BI and analytics function to drive business insight and decision-making across the organization. This role is a hands-on leader who both delivers and develops—personally contributing to high-impact reporting, analytics, metric design, and solution delivery while coaching, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing BI team. The Director sets the standard through active participation (e.g., dashboard builds, KPI definitions, analytical framing, solution reviews) and elevates team capability through structured coaching, feedback, and practical skill-building. This role partners with operational leaders and serves as the business owner for key operational systems that support field execution. The Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics reports to the Chief Information Officer. Work from Home-Northeast Based Job Responsibilities - Operational Reporting & Data Strategy: Define, implement, and execute the organization’s operational reporting and data strategy aligned to business objectives; personally lead the design of priority KPI frameworks and reporting patterns while coaching the team on scalable, maintainable approaches. - Business Reporting & Self-Service Enablement: Lead the business reporting function—tracking key metrics and initiatives through automated dashboards and self-serve tools (e.g., Power BI)—and remain hands-on in the creation, refinement, and governance of critical reporting assets. - Performance Monitoring & Metric Design: Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure the right metrics and systems are in place to measure success; personally engage in metric definition and instrumentation for the most business-critical initiatives. - Metric Integrity & Governance: Ensure key performance metrics remain relevant, scalable, reliable, and consistently defined; establish review cadences and quality checks, modeling disciplined metric stewardship for the team.
