Responsibilities Client Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, developing and nurturing strong relationships to understand their unique payroll needs and expectations. Service Delivery - Oversee and ensure the smooth and accurate delivery of payroll managed services to clients, adhering to agreed-upon timelines and quality standards. - Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for assigned clients, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including salary adjustments, benefits, deductions, and timekeeping records. - Payroll Reconciliation: Perform regular audits and reconciliations to validate payroll accuracy, addressing any discrepancies promptly. Issue Resolution - Proactively identify and address client concerns or issues, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction and retention. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with internal teams, including payroll specialists, HR, finance, and IT, to ensure seamless service delivery, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements. Account Growth and Expansion - Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional payroll services and solutions based on clients' evolving needs, contributing to revenue growth. Compliance and Regulations - Stay up to date with payroll regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that our services are in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. - Tax Filing Review: Review and verify all payroll-related tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Reporting and Analysis - Provide regular reports on service performance, client feedback, and key metrics to management, while analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Reporting: Generate and deliver comprehensive payroll reports to clients, covering payroll summaries, tax withholdings, deductions, and other relevant data as required. Compliance Assurance - Ensure all payroll processes are in adherence to local labor laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements. - Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit required compliance reports to relevant authorities, such as tax agencies or labor departments. Escalation Management - Handle complex payroll-related inquiries and escalations from clients, providing resolutions or liaising with internal teams for prompt assistance. Payroll Software Management - Oversee the utilization and optimization of payroll software, collaborating with the IT team to address any technical issues or software upgrades. Recordkeeping - Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation, ensuring data confidentiality and accessibility for auditing purposes. Proactive Communications - Keep clients informed of any changes in payroll laws, regulations, or policies that may impact their business and payroll processes. Qualifications - High School Diploma, GED, or Payroll Certification or equivalent work experience - Proven experience in payroll management and client relationship management. - Knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively. - Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.
