Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 2+ years leading teams (including people management and technical leadership).
- Experience scaling engineering organizations at a fast-growing startup or tech company.
- Strong judgment on tradeoffs, architecture, and tooling; favoring supported, stable technologies over trends for their own sake.
- Proven ability to deliver large, complex projects while keeping teams unblocked and motivated.
- Deep familiarity with backend systems, distributed architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Postgres; Node.js/TypeScript experience a plus).
- A track record of building diverse, high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive, feedback-rich culture.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels; comfortable jumping into code reviews one moment and board-level discussions the next.
