Job Description: Blue Water Thinking is seeking Business Analysts to support an upcoming program within the VA. Business Analysts will work closely with VA stakeholders, operational teams, and development teams to analyze business processes, document requirements, and support program initiatives related to electronic healthcare data exchange and community care operations. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements - Support operational and programmatic initiatives - Translate business requirements into functional requirements and user stories - Collaborate with agile teams to support backlog development and requirement prioritization - Conduct process analysis and recommend improvements to business workflows - Develop documentation including requirements documents, process flows, and user guides - Support stakeholder coordination and requirements validation sessions - Assist in identifying and resolving operational issues impacting program delivery Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, or related field - Proven experience working in federal government contracting - 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst - Experience gathering and documenting business requirements - Strong analytical and documentation skills - Experience working with stakeholders to support program delivery - Experience with JIRA and requirements management Preferred Qualifications: - Experience supporting VA programs or federal healthcare programs - Familiarity with Integrated Veteran Care or Community Care operations - Experience supporting agile development teams - Experience supporting EDI or healthcare data exchange initiatives Eligibility: - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future - Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role Compensation: Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements.
