• Applies principles of accounting using GAAP, regulatory reporting, and SEC guidance. • Develops, implements and/or maintains accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, etc. • Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations. • Balances books and prepares financial statements. • Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures. • Provides record of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions. • Assists in the setup of processes for revenue tracking. • Reviews, tracks, and maintains billing information in systems. • Prepares reports and procedures manuals; responds to inquiries effectively. • Prepares complex reconciliations and supporting documentation.

We started by hand-dipping almonds in our kitchen and now we are obsessed with making thinly-dipped, drool-worthy treats a thing. We are seeking a new addition to our amazing internal team to help support the financial health and strategies of SkinnyDipped as we continue to grow. This role will be an invaluable part of our foundation for success and we are excited to welcome them into our SkinnyDipped family. THE ROLE - What you would be doing! Track and analyze costs to help identify areas for improvement, reduce costs and optimize efficiency. While the role will focus on managing expenses and supporting accurate forecasts for operations, it also will provide cost saving insights, suggest corrective action to meet annual financial objectives and contribute to financial decision making. What You Will Do: - Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. - Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. - Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. - Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. - Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. - Assists in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with company (revenue recognition) policy. - Reviews, tracks and maintains billing information in financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations. - Prepares reports, procedures manuals and accounting memos; effectively responds to questions from internal parties and external vendors. - Prepares complex reconciliations and supporting documentation within required timeframes. - Develops procedural documentation for implementations and projects, trains others on new processes, and monitors for ongoing effectiveness and accuracy of those processes. - Other duties as assigned.
