Cost Accountant Reports to: Accounting Director Location: Remote MISSION - Company you would be working for Founded by a mom, daughter and two best friends, SkinnyDipped was brought to life in 2013. We started by hand-dipping almonds in our kitchen and now we are obsessed with making thinly-dipped, drool-worthy treats a thing. We craft snacks that nourish your body and spirit and believe everyone deserves to eat the kind of delicious, nutritious and clean food we’re fortunate enough to share with our own families and friends. THE PEOPLE – Who you would be working with We are looking for passionate trail blazers who understand culture better than anyone else. We are seeking a new addition to our amazing internal team to help support the financial health and strategies of SkinnyDipped as we continue to grow. This role will be an invaluable part of our foundation for success and we are excited to welcome them into our SkinnyDipped family. THE ROLE - What you would be doing! Track and analyze costs to help identify areas for improvement, reduce costs and optimize efficiency. While the role will focus on managing expenses and supporting accurate forecasts for operations, it also will provide cost saving insights, suggest corrective action to meet annual financial objectives and contribute to financial decision making. The position will be accountable for but not limited to the following key duties and responsibilities: Responsibilities - Monitor and track all operational costs including direct product costs to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement - Own the invoicing process with our co-manufacturers including tolling variances, raw material chargebacks and turnkey invoicing - Reporting support for freight (inbound and outbound) and logistics expenses - Own inventory reconciliation process between co-man system and NetSuite at SkinnyDipped following physical counts - Collaborate with Accounting team members and the Operations team to collect, analyze, verify and report accurate information – for example, identify trends in inventory levels - Balance sheet reconciliations - Develop cost estimates and product P&Ls for new products or projects - And finally, the ever present - assist with ad hoc projects as needed SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - What you will need to have for success in this role - Must represent the core values of SkinnyDipped - 3-4 years of progressive accounting experience at a CPG food or beverage company - Strong systems skills – advanced knowledge of Excel required and NetSuite experience preferred - Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking but also just loves to figure stuff out - Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions - Strong presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner - Detail oriented, organized and mathematically proficient - Ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously - Team player with a “can-do” attitude, willing to take on challenges and support both individual and team goals - Solid interpersonal and relationship building skills. Role Description SkinnyDipped is looking for a Brand Manager to join our marketing team and help shape the future of the brand. This is a highly cross-functional and visible role within the organization. We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings a consumer-first mindset to every decision, stays on the pulse of trends, and knows how to turn syndicated data into a compelling business story. Brand & Portfolio Management - Contribute to annual brand plans with clear objectives, strategies, and KPIs that ladder up to company growth targets. - Generate consumer and customer insights to inform portfolio decisions, innovation pipelines, and go-to-market strategies. Synthesize learnings into clear POVs for leadership. - Evaluate item-level performance and recommend product renovation and SKU rationalizations, as needed. - Identify whitespace opportunities through consumer research, trend analysis, and competitive landscape assessment. - Partner with R&D team to inform the innovation pipeline and manage stage gate process. - Lead channel strategy and price pack/architecture work. Consult with sales team to inform promotional strategy. Consumer & Retail Insights - Serve as the category expert by tracking competitive dynamics and retailer/consumer trends. - Lead consumer research initiatives and share actionable findings with leadership team. - Monitor and evaluate brand performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities. - Facilitate monthly state of the business, summarizing brand and competitor insights, opportunities, and wins. - Analyze and provide actionable insights from media and consumption reporting. - Be the voice of the consumer to help inform business decisions. - Support ad hoc analytical requests. Marketing & Communications - Bring consumer and category insights to inform planning & positioning. - Share consumer insights with external agency partners, as needed, to inform strategy. - Track brand health metrics including awareness, consideration, purchase intent, household penetration, and more. Retail & Customer Support - Partner with sales to develop compelling retailer presentations that translate consumer insights into sell-in stories. - Synthesize consumer data to craft compelling insights and recommendations to retailers and cross-functional teams. - Leverage data to inform shelf placement, assortment, and tactics by channel. - Own launch decks for new products and categories. Qualifications - 3-5 years of CPG brand management experience, ideally including an Associate Brand Management role. - Fluency in Syndicated Data platforms (SPINS, Numerator, Circana, IRI, Nielsen Preferred) with a track record of turning raw data into clear, action-oriented recommendations. - Strong business acumen with a curiosity to understand the business holistically. You think in terms of volume, velocity, distribution, and household penetration, not just awareness metrics. - You earn credibility through clear thinking and strong relationships, and you know how to move a cross-functional team forward without owning every resource. Supply Chain Procurement Planner Position Location: Remote (Seattle, WA preferred) Reports to: Director of Supply Chain – Manufacturing About SkinnyDipped Located in Seattle, SkinnyDipped was founded by a mom, her daughter, and two best friends after realizing that nothing is more important than time spent with the ones you love. Starting out of their kitchen, the four women created SkinnyDipped: thinly dipped chocolate almonds that are exceptionally good-for-you and ridiculously delicious. The Opportunity We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, systems-savvy Supply Chain Procurement Planner to join our team. If you thrive on accuracy, love turning data into action, and get satisfaction from keeping production humming with exactly the right materials at exactly the right time, this role is for you. This role is responsible for executing and managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and indirect supplies based on MRP outputs from NetSuite and demand software to ensure materials flow smoothly from purchase order to production line. From tuning system data to chasing down supplier confirmations, every day brings a new challenge to solve. What You’ll Do MRP Execution & Material Planning f(with MRP Data Consultant Collaboration) Review daily/weekly MRP-generated purchase recommendations in NetSuite. Partner directly with the MRP data consultant to validate and refine system parameters (lead times, safety stocks, order multiples, preferred suppliers). Translate MRP recommendations into purchase orders that align with production schedules and demand forecasts. Analyze exception messages and collaborate with the consultant and planning team to resolve discrepancies or improve data accuracy. Communicate material needs and consumption patterns to support continuous improvement of the MRP system. Procurement Execution Create, issue, and track purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and indirect supplies. Confirm supplier acknowledgements, monitor delivery status, and update ERP records. Expedite orders as required to meet production timelines. Maintain purchase order accuracy in NetSuite (pricing, delivery dates, quantities). Resolve issues related to delayed shipments, order changes, or material discrepancies. Be the Daily Liaison for Suppliers Serve as the daily contact for suppliers on order status and delivery schedules. Share rolling material forecasts and keep communication flowing to ensure reliable supply. Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure all incoming materials meet standards and required documentation is complete. Escalate supplier performance issues and assist with corrective actions. Keep Our Inventory & Data Dialed In Maintain accurate item master data, including lead times, MOQs, and supplier data. Partner with Planning to balance inventory against demand and storage constraints. Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation. Monitor obsolescence risks and recommend inventory policy adjustments. Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with Production Planning to ensure materials are available for scheduled runs. Coordinate with Quality and R&D on new material qualifications or changes. What You Bring to the Table Skills & Strengths Strong understanding of MRP logic and demand-driven material planning. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Clear, proactive communicator with both internal teams and suppliers. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment. Experience & Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in procurement, material planning, or supply chain operations; CPG or food manufacturing experience preferred. Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP/MRP system required.
