Collections Representative
PestCo LLC
Role Description You will be working in the administrative department to assist Accounts Receivable with duties such as: - Heavy collections - Sending invoices and communicating with customers - Heavy phones - Providing invoices and statements to customers - Cross training on other accounting/billing processes - Updating Compliance Companies with current insurance information - Monitoring branch accounts receivable and identifying overdue accounts - Contacting customers with overdue accounts and attempting to collect the overdue amount - Maintaining records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers - Resolving customer issues and complaints concerning billing Other responsibilities: - Collaborate with other departments and managers on problem resolution - Assist with special projects and analysis Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong communication skills effectively through verbal, written, and in person - Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills - Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping - Self-motivated Requirements - Monday – Friday - Remote - Day hours - Full-time hours Benefits - Health Insurance - PTO - 401(k) matching - Life Insurance - Advancement opportunities

You’ll get to: - Review post-charge off accounts for disposition and present planned collection action recommendations to management for resolution. - Contact account holders to arrange payment, payment plans, or settlement of accounts in accordance with parameters set by the business. - Recommend collection accounts for assignment to Collection/Legal, including review of documentation to ensure a complete set of documents and supporting information is provided for maximum recovery. - Prepare accounts for placement and provide required documentation to support account placement. - Document collection attempts and activities in Salesforce or other repositories as requested. - Use commercially reasonable collection tactics to resolve accounts assigned to them. - Uphold integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information at all times. You also have: - Consumer collections experience is required - Exceptional customer service experience. - Ability to understand and provide accurate and timely resolutions to customer questions and/or problems. - Strong analytical ability required to gather and interpret data in situations where the problems are moderately complex. - Able to prioritize duties and effectively manage time; strong organization skills. - Effective at performing detail-oriented tasks. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to manage across functions at various levels. - Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed. - Proficiency with word processing and Excel spreadsheet software programs. - Knowledge of FDCPA is a must. • Support the collections process, working to resolve client payment issues and protect the financial assets of the organization. • Review documents and filings, assess credit histories and reports, collect and process data on existing and prospective customers, and process credit applications. • Follow all applicable organization and compliance rules regarding credit and collection processes.
Identify and resolve payment recovery issues through effective provider outreach, collaborate with finance teams on discrepancies, and maintain documentation of recovery actions while adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
