Assistant Property Manager

• Assist in onboarding newly assigned properties by inputting data into Rent Manager and sending introductory communications to tenants. • Manage tenant communication professionally via phone and email, including lease follow-ups, service requests, and general inquiries. • Enter rent rolls, lease renewals, and maintenance-related notes accurately into Rent Manager. • Coordinate with building supers to facilitate unit and boiler access, manage invoice receipts, and support payment processing. • Populate lease templates with rent details, scheduled increases, and relevant regulatory codes; ensure timely delivery to tenants. • Track pending tenant responses, maintain system updates, and deliver accurate reporting for internal use and court submissions.

Job Requirements

  • Must have multifamily property management experience
  • Lease drafting experience is also expected
  • Experience with Rent Manager is preferred, but not required
  • Strong ability to manage multiple onboarding and lease tasks with accuracy
  • Skilled at data entry, lease documentation, and following up on pending actions
  • Fluent, professional communicator for tenant-facing conversations
  • Self-sufficient individual who asks questions when unsure
  • Eager to grow, open to learning, and accept constructive feedback.
