Job Description

Regional Marketer

Sanofi

• Monitor and analyze regional market trends, account maturity, competitor activity, and customer insights and prepare a clear regional perspective to inform national brand strategy and tactic optimization • Serve as the marketing business partner with SAMs and Regional Strategy and Account Directors and act as a unique go-to person for all marketing related topics to optimize pull-through of marketing strategies and link with the brand marketing team and other functions for solutioning • Define key localization opportunities to tailor messaging, materials, and programs to resonate with regional audiences and work closely with brand marketing team on defined projects to develop and execute them • Identify, engage, and cultivate commercial relationships with external experts including thought leaders, influencers, emerging leaders and relevant patient and professional associations within the geography • Develop regional engagement plans for external experts and ensure consistent tactical execution throughout the year to drive key marketing engagement • Lead and support the development, training, and execution of speaker programs and leads customer insight gathering activities such as commercial advisory boards, regional insight meetings, and external expert consulting • Manage strategy, execution and budgeting for regional conferences & product theatres • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements • Manage regional budgets and resources efficiently, providing regular updates on performance • Support the adaptation and delivery of materials and omni-channel marketing programs for HCPs and patients • Travel extensively within the assigned region to support meetings, events, and field engagements (estimated 50-75%)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, etc.) preferred
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, sales or related roles with 1+ years of marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze complex market data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Demonstrated success in external expert engagement, speaker program, advisory board, and conference management
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant therapeutic areas
  • Experience working within a cross-functional, matrixed environment with the ability to influence, mobilize and manage a complex set of internal stakeholders and processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management, budget management & presentation skills
  • Experience with MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review process a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
