• Lead a team of 10+ software engineers focused on projects, enhancements and maintenance related to the UK system • Ensure the quality of software including adherence to program processes and software engineering best practices • Collaborate with other team members, project managers, and cross-functional areas to plan work and communicate statuses • Support the project in the development and improvement of the software development processes • Support work assignments for individuals on the software team to meet schedule for projects and releases • Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities • Provide leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship • Monitor team performance; resolve impediments; develop and implement solutions for driving improvement • Develop or contribute to program deliverables, as required • Utilize the Atlassian suite, including Bitbucket and Jira, to support software development efforts and track work
