We are looking for an Enterprise Business Development professional to drive commercial solar and energy infrastructure projects for enterprise and mid-market clients. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, guiding customers through the full project development lifecycle, and closing complex B2B energy solutions. The position works closely with engineering, finance, and project teams to structure technically and financially viable solar and battery storage projects. This is an opportunity for a self-directed sales professional who thrives in complex deal environments and enjoys building long-term relationships with business leaders. Responsibilities - Manage the full commercial sales lifecycle including prospecting, discovery, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract execution - Generate new business opportunities through networking, targeted outreach, industry events, and strategic partnerships - Conduct site evaluations and collaborate with technical teams to develop solar and battery storage project concepts - Develop financial models and proposals that communicate project economics, incentives, and return on investment - Build relationships with senior decision makers including executives, property owners, and operations leaders - Lead negotiations and guide enterprise clients through contracting and project development stages - Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer records in CRM systems - Coordinate project handoff to internal operations and project management teams following contract execution
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in construction, renewable energy, HVAC, or related infrastructure industries
- Experience selling complex technical or financial solutions with long sales cycles
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and guide enterprise-level decision processes
- Experience preparing proposals, pricing strategies, and financial models for commercial projects
- Comfortable working independently while managing a large sales pipeline
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field preferred
