Job Title: Harware Asset Management Analyst Reporting To: Manager, IT Asset Work Schedule: Fully Remote or Hybrid if Local – Buffalo, NY Moog’s Corporate Group is seeking a highly organized, detail‑driven Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Analyst to join our IT Asset Management team. In this role, you will be critical in ensuring the accuracy, financial integrity, and operational efficiency of our global hardware lifecycle. You’ll manage vendor relationships, oversee procurement and inventory forecasting, support financial processes, and partner closely with IT, Finance, Sourcing, and Operations to keep our workforce equipped and productive. While this role is considered fully remote, the incumbent must live in the United States and be willing to travel to our Corporate Headquarters, in East Aurora, NY (a suburb of Buffalo), on a quarterly basis. To qualify for the Hardware Asset Management Analyst here is what we would expect you to bring to Moog… - Typically, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, related field, or related experience - Over six (6) years of experience in IT Asset Management or related disciplines. - Strong knowledge of ITAM and ITSM platforms. - Experience using ServiceNow’s HAM module - Experience working with hardware vendors - Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated competence communicating with all levels of the organization It would also be beneficial if you had: - Relevant certifications (ITAM, ITIL v4, ISO 19770). - Experience with cloud licensing and SaaS management. - Familiarity with FinOps principles. - Experience with Scaled Agile Framework methodology. As the Hardware Asset Management Analyst, you will have the following responsibilities… Asset Lifecycle & Financial Oversight - Oversee global billing processes and manage end‑of‑lease hardware returns. - Review, validate, and approve monthly hardware invoices in partnership with IT Sourcing and Finance. - Review and sign hardware` lease schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual terms. - Track and report annual computer spend to support budgeting and forecasting cycles. - Ensure compliance with corporate asset lifecycle policies, financial controls, and audit requirements. Inventory Management & Forecasting - Manage hardware inventory forecasting to maintain adequate supply for global workforce needs. - Monitor stock levels, refresh cycles, and deployment trends to proactively plan procurement. - Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to track shipments, returns, and asset movements. Procurement & Vendor Relations - Serve as primary liaison with hardware vendors to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships. - Gather hardware requirements from end users and provide accurate, timely quotes. - Review and approve hardware purchase requests in coordination with IT Sourcing. - Provide data‑driven insights to support contract discussions and vendor negotiations. Operational Coordination & Process Improvement - Collaborate with the ServiceNow platform team to implement updates, workflow changes, and enhancements to asset management module. - Maintain accurate asset records within ServiceNow and correct inaccuracies when identified. - Identify opportunities to streamline asset processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency. ITSS Support & Hardware Process Guidance - Provide guidance to ITSS teams on hardware ordering, break/fix procedures, and asset return processes. - Support ITSS technicians by clarifying hardware standards, lifecycle expectations, and escalation paths. - Ensure ITSS teams follow established asset management processes and documentation requirements. User Support & Cross‑Functional Collaboration - Work directly with employees to understand hardware needs and recommend appropriate solutions. - Partner with IT leadership, Finance, Sourcing, and Operations to align asset strategy with organizational goals. - Collaboration with CMDB team to ensure alignment between CI and asset records within the database.
