If so, we want you to join our team at Starion Bank! Position: Credit Analyst Location: This position is available at any of our branches in North Dakota and Wisconsin. This position may be eligible for remote work where the physical location is within 200 miles of one of our locations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform credit analysis for new and existing loan requests, including preparation of credit approval presentations and financial statement spreads. - Conduct annual credit reviews and provide written credit recommendations to management regarding loan structure and creditworthiness. - Support lenders with complex credit transactions, risk assessments, and servicing needs. - Assist with credit-related training, appraisal reviews, and ongoing process improvements within credit administration. - Participate in projects related to policy updates, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives. Role Description An evaluation is being requested to assess and report on the achievements of the Flash Flood Guidance System with Global Coverage (FFGS/WGC) project and the Early Warning Systems for Floods (EWS-F) project, funded by the US Department of State, against their expected results: - FFGS was designed and developed for interactive use by meteorological and hydrological forecasters throughout the world. - Addresses issues associated with flash floods, especially the lack of capacity to develop effective flash flood warnings. - Provides real-time information and forecasts of flash flooding. - Robust system designed to provide products needed to monitor and issue warnings of flash floods. - The FFGS with Global Coverage (FFGS/WGC) project is currently in its fourth phase of implementation by WMO. - The EWS-F project targets 14 Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in Central America, the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Southwest Indian Ocean. - Aims to enhance Members’ capacity to take early action and reduce impacts of hydrological hazards, particularly floods and drought. The aim of the consultancy is to provide an impartial end-of-project evaluation in terms of: - Relevance - Effectiveness - Efficiency - Impact - Sustainability - Overall performance - Management and achievements - Governance and coordination of the FFGS/WGC and EWS-F projects throughout project implementation. Qualifications - Master’s degree in relevant field (applied hydrometeorology, early warning systems, disaster risk management, or related discipline). Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the design, management, and evaluation of development projects (including results-based management). - Experience in designing evaluation tools, conducting desk reviews and evaluation missions, drafting evaluation reports. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational hydrology at a National Meteorological and Hydrological Service (NMHS); operational forecasting experience is preferable. - Project evaluation knowledge (results-based management evaluation methodologies). - Adherence to the UN code of conduct for evaluators. - Project evaluation/review experience within the United Nations System. - Demonstration of previous evaluations conducted and reports available and published. - Availability in the expected timeframe.
