Role Description The objective of the assignment is to design and implement a gender-responsive communication strategy that increases women’s awareness, engagement, and participation in capital market through BIMX tools, with a focus on women entrepreneurs and potential women investors, including both enterprises and individuals. The consultant will be responsible for delivering the following three interrelated tasks: - Task 1: Gender-responsive Communication audit - Assess the current communication ecosystem and identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities. - Review all existing communication materials (website, reports, social media, press releases, presentations, internal communications). - Conduct stakeholder interviews and/or surveys (internal teams, partners, investors, media, beneficiaries). - Analyze communication performance data (engagement metrics, reach, media coverage, brand perception). - Conduct a comprehensive website audit including: - Content structure and clarity. - User experience (UX) and navigation. - Technical performance basics (speed, mobile responsiveness). - Assess content against: - Gender equality principles (inclusive language, representation, imagery). - Accessibility standards (e.g., readability, alt text, usability). - Identify gaps in: - Content relevance and messaging. - Audience targeting. - Transparency (investor/ESG information). - Assess alignment with organizational strategy, values, and brandbook. - Benchmark against industry best practices and peer organizations. - Identify gaps in messaging framework, channels, audience targeting, and consistency. - Ensure alignment with gender equality commitments. - Develop a structured audit report including: - Key findings (quantitative and qualitative). - Risks and missed opportunities. - Clear, prioritized recommendations for improvement. - Task 2: Stakeholders and audience mapping - Define and segment all relevant target groups to enable gender-responsive and tailored communication. - Identify all relevant stakeholder categories (e.g., investors, regulators, women entrepreneurs and women investors, employees, partners, media, civil society, customers). - Segment audiences based on influence, interest, needs, and communication behaviors. - Develop stakeholder personas (motivations, expectations, preferred channels, key concerns). - Map stakeholder relationships and influence levels (e.g., power-interest matrix). - Define communication objectives per audience group. - Identify key engagement channels per segment. - Produce a visual and narrative stakeholder mapping framework for internal use. - Task 3: 12-Month Communications Plan - Translate strategy into a detailed, time-bound implementation roadmap. - Develop audience-specific communication approaches based on stakeholder mapping. - Identify priority themes, narratives, and storytelling approaches. - Recommend optimal communication channels (digital, media, internal, events). - Establish a content strategy and editorial calendar structure (monthly/quarterly). - Integrate risk communication and crisis preparedness considerations. - Define monitoring, evaluation, and reporting mechanisms. - Define specific activities, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables. - Ensure adequate visibility of UN Women and its relevant donors as supporting entities. Role Description The National Business Statistics Analyst will be reporting to the Thailand Programme Coordinator, with a matrix coordination line to the Gender Statistics Specialist in the Women’s Economic Empowerment Section at the UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Role Description The interns will be placed within the Dalan Digital Project under the Democratic Governance portfolio, which focuses on strengthening digital governance systems, legal frameworks, and public service delivery in Timor-Leste. Role Description The purpose of this consultancy is to support the transformation of technical material into a coherent set of high-quality, publication-ready COP31 engagement products, including a high-level information note presenting WMO’s perspectives on how meteorological, hydrological, climate and Earth system information can support voluntary implementation efforts related to the Belém Adaptation Indicators and Adaptation Intelligence Briefs. These products are intended to communicate WMO’s potential scientific and technical contribution to ongoing processes related to adaptation implementation, data and information systems relevant to the voluntary operationalization of the Belém Adaptation Indicators in a concise and strategic manner, suitable for high-level dissemination and engagement at COP31. Role Description UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. The consultancy will be managed by the UN Women Regional Office for the Arab States, under the direct supervision of the Regional WPS-HA Advisor. The consultant will maintain regular communication with the WPS team throughout the assignment, providing progress updates and flagging any methodological or contextual challenges in a timely manner. All key deliverables will be subject to review and approval by UN Women task manager prior to finalization. Critical considerations: - The analysis should be explicitly situated within the current regional context, examining how major events such as October 7 and the regional escalation (Iran and US/Israel conflict) and their aftermath have reshaped conflict dynamics, gender relations, and the WPS landscape across the Arab States region. - The analysis should resist broad regional generalizations and instead outline the distinct conflict typologies across the region, including conflict-affected fragile settings, post-conflict contexts, and countries in political transition. Consultancy - Support SWIO RCC-Network Demonstration Phase

Role Description The overall objective of this consultancy is to support the implementation and successful completion of the RCC-Network demonstration phase in the South-West Indian Ocean region and facilitate the preparation of the RCC-Network for formal WMO designation. Duties and Responsibilities - Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager of the Technical Assistance Project, the Chief of the Climate Prediction Section, the consultant shall provide support in accordance with the expressed needs of the NMHSs on one hand and the objectives of the project on the other hand. - In this context, the consultant shall undertake the following tasks: - Technical support for RCC demonstration activities - Provide technical guidance to participating NMHSs and RCC-Network institutions in implementing their assigned RCC functions. Support the operational delivery of RCC products and services in accordance with WMO requirements and standards. - Assist participating institutions in documenting procedures, workflows, and quality-management practices relevant to RCC operations. - Support the establishment and strengthening of mechanisms for routine production and dissemination of RCC products. - Coordination and Capacity Development - Facilitate coordination among participating countries and RCC-Network partners. - Assist and facilitate the organization of the Management Committee sessions. - Organize and facilitate technical meetings, workshops, and consultation sessions. - Promote collaboration and information exchange among participating institutions. - Identify capacity-development needs and recommend measures to strengthen institutional and technical capacities. - Monitoring and assessment of Demonstration Phase progress - Monitor progress towards implementation of mandatory RCC functions. - Identify operational, technical, and institutional gaps that may affect readiness for designation. - Develop recommendations and action plans to address identified gaps. - Support participating institutions in compiling evidence required for the RCC designation assessment process. - Preparation for RCC Designation - Assist the RCC-Network in preparing documentation required for WMO RCC designation. - Review compliance with RCC designation criteria and provide recommendations for improvement. - Facilitate endorsement processes and consultations required among participating countries and relevant governance bodies. Requirements - At least 10 years of experience in climate services, NMHS operations, or RCC-related activities. - Experience with WMO frameworks (RCCs, GDPFS). - Proven experience in regional projects and capacity development. - Strong technical expertise in climate monitoring, climate prediction, and climate data management. - Experience in coordination and stakeholder-engagement skills. - Strong analytical and report-writing abilities. - Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines. - Excellent knowledge of English and French (both oral and written).
