Principal Program Manager, Informatics
RESPEC
• Responsible for the delivery of over 200+ complex informatics features annually • Establish the programmatic infrastructure for the OIP • Conduct enterprise-level risk management, including the development of risk registers, mitigation plans, and impact evaluations for EHR modernization activities • Drive the "Agility at Scale" requirement • Facilitate quarterly Program Increments (PI) and ensure all 20+ annual iterations deliver high-value features to OCI stakeholders • Manage the Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract structure, ensuring all deliverables meet the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) standards
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree (or Bachelor’s + 20 years experience)
- 15+ years in clinical informatics program management
- Expert mastery of Jira Align and Jira for backlog management and transparency
- Deep expertise in SAFe® Lean-Agile principles and the Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CDP)
- Comprehensive understanding of the VA’s EHR transition from CPRS/VistA to Oracle Health
- Ability to obtain/maintain a VA Public Trust
