• Design, develop, and implement complex scripts, utilities, and applications on AIX platforms. • Perform advanced AIX system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. • Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Shell scripting, Python, Perl). • Provide expert-level support for complex AIX system and application issues. • Adhere strictly to federal government security policies, protocols, and compliance standards. • Work effectively within Agile/DevOps teams, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Own day-to-day accounting in QuickBooks Online (QBO) across multiple client entities. • Manage accounts payable and receivable via Bill.com, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections monitoring. • Administer payroll through Gusto and QuickBooks Online Payroll. • Reconcile inventory, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate COGS. • Record journal entries and maintain clean, audit-ready general ledgers. • Own the month-end close processes and support timely client reporting. • Handle sales tax filings and ongoing compliance. • Respond to ad hoc requests and adjust entries based on tools like Toast or other POS integrations. • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and accountability. • Think critically when issues arise and propose system/process improvements where needed.
• Prepare complex Tax Returns of varying complexities for businesses (Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065), individuals (Form 1040) and trusts (Form 1041). • Prepare tax projections/estimates as necessary. • Research tax questions as necessary • Interface with IRS and other tax agencies regarding client issues and audits. • Collaborate effectively and efficiently with all firm employees • Provide timely, high quality client service.
• Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of clients, managing relationships via email, Zoom, and phone. • Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic insights that drive business growth. • Oversee G/L activity, financial statement preparation, and heavy account reconciliations to ensure technical accuracy. • Facilitate the tax compliance process by preparing returns and providing clean financials to the tax department. • Review transactional work and ensure all monthly accounting activities stay on schedule.
• Lead tax planning kickoff calls and quarterly advisory meetings • Design and implement high-impact strategies like cost segregation, 1031 exchanges, and depreciation optimization • Review financials to identify missed planning opportunities and advise on entity structuring and compensation optimization • Prepare or review complex returns that reflect deep strategic planning rather than just transactional data entry • Help strengthen and scale the firm's advisory offerings and elevate the firm’s technical standards • Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional growth
• Remote Tax Manager will lead tax engagements and serve as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients. • Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a growing client base • Managing the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and ad hoc client requests • Facilitating and managing the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns and the accurate, timely submission of all tax filings • Finding and implementing opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures • Delighting our customers with expert guidance and support • Available to work between the normal business day (ex. 9am to 5pm) to be responsive to client requests.
• Review and sign federal/state tax returns and monthly financial statements. • Oversee tax and accounting engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring all monthly close and tax deadlines are met with consistency. • Directly supervise Managers, Seniors, and Staff. Provide coaching and performance management, and play a key role in hiring and capacity planning. • Monitor team utilization and realization. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements to strengthen the firm’s efficiency. • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the team, exercising independent professional judgment to manage risk and solve complex client issues.
• Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of entrepreneurial and high-income clients • Lead quarterly advisory meetings to review financials, projections, and tax strategies • Ensure the final result by leading tax preparation for your portfolio of clients • Proactively identify planning opportunities based on changes in client circumstances and tax law • Support the development of junior staff by exposing them to advisory work and client interactions • Develop, maintain, and update customized tax plans for clients • Lead a dedicated client service team of 2-4 tax professionals

• Collaborate with Oracle and project stakeholders during the setup of the Development environment in OCI • Learn and document environment configurations, architecture, and deployment processes • Independently configure and deploy UAT and Production environments based on established patterns • Ensure consistency, scalability, and security across all OCI environments • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and configuration issues • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing support
