This position reports to: EL Product Marketing Manager __ In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. As Product Marketing Manager, you will utilize your skills and capabilities to design, develop and implement the product marketing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our low voltage contactor, overload relay and manual motor starter product lines. You will be accountable for the ownership of the respective product portfolio for all marketing and business development activities in the U.S. You will also lead the communication and messaging of our product value propositions in alignment with ABB’s global product marketing strategy, and as well help coordinate other functional areas of the business as necessary to achieve the expected KPIs for the product lines in scope. The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) with preferred locations being in either NC (Raleigh, Cary area) or GA. Your role and responsibilities: - Develops and executes local go-to-market and annual marketing strategies aligned with global guidelines, including product positioning, value propositions, pricing policies, and promotional activities to drive demand and profitable growth. - Monitors performance against key metrics (e.g., demand orders, growth margin %, net price variance, NPS, inventory turns, on-time delivery) and implements improvement actions to achieve targets. - Identifies and leverages market opportunities by creating business plans, coordinating across divisions, and ensuring balanced growth for all product lines while promoting value-based selling and technical solutions. - Enhances customer satisfaction and engagement through surveys, issue resolution, product support, training initiatives, and continuous improvement of NPS, while sharing best practices across the organization. Engineering highly preferred and Electrical Engineering preferred as well. - 8 years of experience in Sales, Product Management or Product Marketing Management in the related Electrical products/application industry. - Demonstrates customer-focused, results-oriented, and market-driven thinking with strong teamwork, systemic problem-solving, and innovative mindset. Skilled in portfolio management, marketing, business strategy, and go-to-market execution, with expertise in market intelligence, pricing, digital marketing, and customer experience; proficient in MS Office and experienced in power distribution and electrical control systems. - Candidates must already have a work authorization that allow them to work for ABB in United States without sponsorship.
