Role Description QuinStreet is seeking a strategic, growth-oriented Sr. Business Development Manager, Banking to help lead the performance and expansion of our Banking & Wealth category. This high-impact role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing and expanding financial-institution partnerships, and shaping marketplace strategy to deliver measurable business outcomes. - Identify growth opportunities, optimize marketplace performance, and develop pricing, merchandising, and marketing strategies that support customer acquisition and partner success. - This is a highly cross-functional position that requires strong analytical judgment, a deep understanding of financial products and performance marketing dynamics, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both external partners and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities - Strategic Growth & Category Leadership - Support the definition and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the Banking & Wealth category, including client acquisition, channel expansion, and performance optimization. - Drive budget planning, forecasting, and revenue growth initiatives through data-driven analysis and marketplace insights. - Identify opportunities to improve partner ROI and expand client spend across savings, banking, and wealth products. - Develop and manage pricing frameworks and yield-optimization strategies to balance scale, margin performance, and partner objectives. - Client Partnership & Marketplace Management - Serve as a senior point of contact for key banking, wealth, and fintech partners, building trusted relationships that support long-term growth. - Lead day-to-day commercial discussions, contract renewals, and performance reviews in alignment with broader business objectives. - Monitor and analyze campaign and partner performance; apply insights to optimize funnel conversion, improve click-to-funded-account outcomes, and maximize marketplace yield. - Ensure strong budget delivery through proactive pacing, issue resolution, and close coordination with internal teams. - Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution - Collaborate closely with Media, Product, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, and Creative teams to launch and scale new initiatives, tests, and optimizations. - Partner with product and engineering teams to provide market-driven input into roadmap priorities and feature development. - Drive marketplace merchandising strategies, user-journey enhancements, and content initiatives to improve conversion and customer experience. - Build, maintain, and evolve reporting frameworks and dashboards that enable clear performance visibility and agile decision-making. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, strategic partnerships, client success, or vertical/category marketing, ideally within fintech, banking, wealth, or financial services. - Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, managing large budgets, and supporting scaled marketplace or performance marketing programs. - Strong analytical orientation with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. - Excellent client-facing and relationship-management skills with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders. - Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and move initiatives forward in dynamic, fast-paced environments. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. - Proficiency with Excel, performance dashboards, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics). Requirements - The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 USD to $135,000 USD annually. - This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. - The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. - The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. - This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits, retirement benefits, paid days off, and any other tax-reportable benefits. Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, strategic partnerships, client success, or vertical/category marketing, ideally within fintech, banking, wealth, or financial services.
