Job Description

Business Development Representative

Syntax

• Research and prioritize enterprise target accounts to understand industry dynamics, technology environments with an emphasis on Oracle ERPs and public cloud services, and potential gaps or transformation opportunities. • Build pipeline within your respective territory through disciplined, multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, video, direct mail). • Create compelling first conversations with confidence and credibility by leading with insight and personalization, not product pitches that resonate with Director- and C-level stakeholders to uncover business challenges and technology-related initiatives. • Partner closely with AEs and Marketing to align on account strategy, messaging, and campaign execution. • Maintain a high level of daily activity while balancing quality, relevance, and consistency. • Track and report on activity, pipeline progression, and outcomes using Salesforce and HubSpot • Use data, feedback, and AI-powered tools to refine messaging and improve conversion rates. • Hold yourself accountable to outcomes, not just activity. Goal: Book high-quality discovery meetings and product demos for Enterprise Account Executives.

Job Requirements

  • 1–3 years of BDR/SDR experience in B2B technology, with hands-on responsibility for outbound pipeline generation in mid-market or enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to engage senior decision-makers (Director, VP, C-level) in consultative, multi-threaded sales conversations.
  • Strong business and technical curiosity, with the ability to quickly understand complex challenges and translate technical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives.
  • A resourceful, ownership-driven mindset — you proactively find creative ways to break into accounts, take accountability for results, and continuously raise your own standards.
  • Highly coachable and tool-savvy, comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing; experience with Salesforce, 6sense, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern AI tools is a strong plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive, above-average compensation
  • Global tourist: With us, you can also work from abroad from time to time
  • Flexible working time models, home office
  • Attractive benefits, e.g. company pension scheme or various health offers
  • A modern environment in which the "you" is part of it
  • Open feedback culture, flat hierarchies and a motivated team
  • Individual career planning with continuous training and coaching on the job
