Role Description Redpanda is looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager to help drive the execution, delivery, and release of Redpanda’s products, with a focus on the Agentic Data Plane (ADP). In this role, you will not only lead complex, cross-team technical programs for ADP, but also drive and strengthen the end-to-end release process across Redpanda’s entire product portfolio, ensuring that we ship high-quality, predictable releases as our platform and organization scale. Redpanda’s Agentic Data Plane enables intelligent agents to autonomously access, reason over, and act on enterprise data in real time, while providing their human counterparts with the visibility and control to ensure and validate that they do so securely. - Drive execution of Redpanda’s most complex, cross-team initiatives, with primary focus on the Agentic Data Plane (ADP) - Lead end-to-end delivery and release execution across Redpanda’s product portfolio, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and predictable releases - Manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across multiple engineering teams and workstreams - Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering and GTM leadership to translate product strategy and technical direction into executable plans - Drive cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Product, QE, Security, Customer Success, Support, and GTM to ensure delivery and release readiness - Proactively identify and resolve execution risks, technical dependencies, and delivery blockers in a highly distributed systems environment - Maintain clear program and release visibility to stakeholders - Own and continuously improve release processes and operational best practices as Redpanda’s platform and organization scale - Support customer-facing commitments and launches, aligning delivery timelines with business and GTM priorities - Lead retrospectives and drive continuous improvement in program management, release execution, and cross-team collaboration Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or similar roles delivering complex enterprise or infrastructure software - Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, data infrastructure, and/or AI/ML platforms - Proven experience managing large, multi-team programs spanning multiple layers of infrastructure - Demonstrated ownership of release management or large-scale delivery processes across multiple products or teams - Ability to align diverse stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and drive execution in fast-moving, high-growth environments - Strong written and verbal communication skills - An ability to empathize with your fellow employees, designing and negotiating policies and procedures that enable needed business outcomes while minimizing friction and overhead - Comfortable working in a 100% distributed / remote environment Requirements - Background in security, policy, and governance systems relevant to enterprise data or AI usage (Nice to Have) - Prior experience scaling release processes in fast-growing or multi-product organizations (Nice to Have) Benefits - U.S. base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $235,000 (CA, NY, WA) and $190,000 - $224,500 (other US locations) - Remote-first company culture - Consideration of each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary Company Description Redpanda is pioneering the Agentic Data Plane (ADP) - a new category in AI infrastructure that makes it simple and secure to connect AI agents with enterprise data and systems. Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or similar roles delivering complex enterprise or infrastructure software
  • Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, data infrastructure, and/or AI/ML platforms
  • Proven experience managing large, multi-team programs spanning multiple layers of infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ownership of release management or large-scale delivery processes across multiple products or teams
