Role Description Analytica is seeking a Functional Lead to support CMS-related projects and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will lead a functional team in implementing CMS requirements into existing systems, ensuring compliance with IT standards and healthcare information management best practices. The Functional Lead will work closely with CMS staff and stakeholders to interpret requirements, assess system impacts, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): - Lead a functional team in implementing CMS requirements into existing systems and oversee major system enhancements. - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the CMS IT infrastructure framework and IT standards. - Be responsible for the overall functionality and performance of the entire system. - Develop a thorough understanding of the system, including its operations and all applicable business processes. - Interpret CMS and user requirements, assess their impact on current systems and processes, and evaluate downstream effects. - Engage in frequent and ongoing interactions with CMS staff to ensure alignment and address issues proactively. - Apply in-depth experience in information management within the healthcare industry, with a focus on CMS-related challenges, including processing healthcare and provider records. - Ensure all work performed meets CMS quality standards and system development standards and principles. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). - Proven experience leading functional teams in a healthcare IT environment. - Strong knowledge of CMS systems, IT infrastructure, and industry standards. - Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements and translate them into actionable system changes. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with information management in healthcare, especially with CMS and provider records. - Ability to secure a US Federal Clearance. - Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CBAP) are a plus.
