Role Description Be the Engine Behind Shure’s Dealer Growth and join Shure as our next Sales Development Specialist! The Sales Development Specialist plays a key role in driving lead generation success across Shure’s dealer channel. In this role, you’ll partner closely with premium authorized partners and dealer networks to ensure they are actively generating, qualifying, and pursuing high-quality marketing leads. You’ll act as the bridge between Shure’s sales, marketing, and merchandising teams and our channel partners, helping them understand which programs deliver the strongest leads and providing ongoing feedback to optimize performance. This role directly supports revenue growth, partner engagement, and the overall effectiveness of our marketing-to-sales pipeline. This position will be remotely based out of the Northern California area. This person must reside in this market. Responsibilities - Work closely with partner engineers to drive technical awareness, Shure brand building, and serve as an onsite Shure resource. - Execute strategic plans to identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize market leads and opportunities to reach potential customers outside of the current Company revenue stream. - Execute education programs and presentations with Sales Management and Applications Engineering to increase awareness and understanding of the benefits of Company product categories. - Support partner sales team as a technical consultant for customer projects. - Communicate growth opportunities with business leaders. - Responsible for lead qualification and identifying “sales-ready” prospects. - Cross-sell and up-sell during the tele-qualification process. - Anticipate customer needs and overcome competitive sales objections. - Deliver prepared sales messaging for Shure products/solutions to move potential customers through the buying process. - Partner with supported sales team to schedule calls with prospective customers and ensure timely and effective handoffs. - Familiar with the Marketing Plan between Shure and dealer partner/channel. - Perform other duties as assigned.
