Job Summary: Lead, mentor, and direct a team of Enterprise Architects developing complex business applications in a software engineering environment. Act as the primary strategic liaison between executive business stakeholders and technical leadership to conceptualize, define, and govern overarching system solutions. Set the overarching enterprise architecture vision and ensure all solutions align with the broader enterprise architecture framework. What you will do: Leadership & Mentorship * Direct, coach, and manage a team of Enterprise Architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and strategic thinking. * Represent the EA organization at the executive level for application, data, and infrastructure domain-specific initiatives. Strategic Road mapping & Governance * Define, own, and drive enterprise platform roadmaps, technology lifecycles, and transformational initiatives across a wide and diverse portfolio. * Establish and enforce overarching standards, models, and guiding principles for future state architecture, organizational structure, business processes, and infrastructure. Consulting & Investment Strategy * Develop and present comprehensive business cases for high-level initiatives to C-level executives for approval, funding, and prioritization. * Lead complex M&A technology due diligence and integration planning. * Lead enterprise-level vendor selection processes and provide strategic recommendations for massive technology investments. Architecture Oversight * Support and govern the architecting of cloud-based applications, mobile applications, infrastructure, web services, middleware, and databases needed for the future state platform. * Ensure compliance between overarching business strategies and enterprise transformation activities. * Direct business stakeholders to follow enterprise architecture guidance for all projects. What we expect of you: * Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of Information Technology experience, * OR * 14+ years of total Information Technology experience. * 7+ years working as an Enterprise Architect. * 3+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, or leading a team of architects or senior technical staff. * Enterprise Architecture certified or equivalent experience using industry standards e.g. TOGAF. * Extensive experience developing architectural standards, roadmaps, and enterprise models. * Proven track record of being an evangelist for a larger strategic vision. * Deep ability to integrate business and technological vision, connecting the dots across business needs, technologies, processes, and information.
