HRIS Coordinator The HRIS Coordinator supports the People & Culture (P&C) team by administering Finit's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, system accuracy, and seamless people operations. This role serves as a systems partner across Payroll and Benefits assisting with accurate employee data and supporting compliant, efficient, and scalable HR processes. With a strong focus on HRIS administration, reporting, system workflows, and data governance, this role ensures that people data is reliable, secure, and actionable. Responsibilities: - HRIS & Employee Data Administration - Serve as an administrator of Finit's HRIS/HCM system, ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of employee records across the full employee lifecycle, as directed by the Benefit Specialist (new hires, status changes, leaves, promotions, terminations). - Validate and audit employee data to maintain data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance standards. - Update system workflows, documentation, and reporting tools to support payroll, benefits, and employee processes. - Generate and distribute HRIS reports to support payroll processing, recognition tracking, external reporting, compliance reporting, and leadership insights. - Assist with document storage and retention, including background checks and employee documentation within approved systems. - Partner with Payroll & Benefits to ensure seamless data flow between systems and accurate downstream processing. Payroll & Benefits Support - Support the Benefits Specialist by gathering, reviewing, and validating employee information related to payroll and benefits changes. - Maintain tracking tools (Smartsheet and related platforms) to support payroll and benefits processes. - Review time and expense submissions for non-billable charges and coordinate approvals for part-time employee hours. - Assist with COBRA administration, benefit notices, compliance reporting, and employee benefits inquiries. - Ensure smooth administration of employee participation programs, including Make Life Easier Perk tracking and validation. Employee Relations & Performance Process Support - Assist the Employee Relations Lead to support ongoing employee relations initiatives and projects. - Support LMS administration (Litmos/LearnIt), including user setup, onboarding assignments, troubleshooting, and reporting. - Prepare separation documentation and support offboarding processes with professionalism and discretion. Onboarding & Lifecycle Coordination - Support pre-hire communication and onboarding logistics, ensuring documentation, systems, and materials are prepared and accurate. - Serve as a backup coordinator for new hire orientation and onboarding activities. - Coordinate background checks and onboarding compliance requirements as needed. Internal Communications & Engagement - Support People & Culture in drafting and distributing internal communications and engagement updates. - Provide secondary support for internal announcements, events, and engagement initiatives. - Assist with coordination of communication logistics for company-wide meetings and engagement activities. Data Tracking Reporting & Culture Support - Assist with People & Culture tracking files and dashboards, ensuring information remains current and accurate. - Provide backup support for PTO tracking and approval documentation. - Collect and organize data for external award submissions and internal reporting. - Support employee engagement initiatives, DE&I programs, volunteerism efforts, and appreciation events.
