Job Description

Director, Client Strategy – Media

Wpromote

• Developing cohesive, multi-channel media plans and go-to-market strategies. Translating client KPIs into budget allocations across Social, YouTube, and Programmatic (Display, Video, CTV, DOOH). • Serving as the lead point of contact for client leadership. • Commanding the boardroom during weekly status calls, QBRs, and high-stakes strategy sessions. • Deeply understanding client unit economics and industry competition to identify "same-store growth" opportunities and assist the sales team in pitching new business. • Understanding client SOWs and be able to make internal recommendations for how to best service the account • Responsible for quality control of all deliverables, providing structured mentorship, and managing the team’s career progression. • Partnering with Analytics and Creative teams to interpret results through the lens of Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) and Media Mix Modeling (MMM), ensuring insights are distilled into actionable business narratives. • Driving campaign progression through rigorous testing frameworks and proactive exploration of new partners, emerging channels, and creative technology.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in media across search (paid and organic), social, programmatic, and video.
  • Proven success managing multiple client simultaneously
  • Ability to produce complex go-to-market strategies and media plans ranging from full funnel to performance based brands.
  • Experience working directly with creative and development teams to produce, iterate, and optimize digital assets for media performance.
  • Deep familiarity with standard strategic marketing skills (competitive assessment, SWOT, industry analysis) and the ability to work with analytics teams on granular program tracking.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead a "team structure," prioritize high-pressure tasks, and navigate sensitive client dynamics autonomously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
