Senior Momentum Data Conversion Tester
Ibility LLC
• Collaborate with Data Conversion Test Lead and government client in planning, training, and testing of data conversion aspects of the financial system implementation and coordinate with other vendors on testing to adjudicate, resolve, and close issues • Review existing and update existing testing plan for the data conversion components of each implementation wave release. • Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, document results, identify issues and defects, and prepare testing summary reports • Maintain and prioritize a testing defect log that will be shared with the government client and other vendors to track testing progress • Reconcile pre- and post-conversion financial balances • Ensure legacy fields map correctly to Momentum’s data structures and business rules • Support mock conversions, validate load performance, and confirm that converted data supports go live operations
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience supporting Momentum and/or financial data conversion activities at a large federal agency
- Minimum 4 years of related experience executing system performance and data validation tests, documenting test results, and identifying issues
- Documented experience conducting deep data conversion validation testing
- Experience leading mock system conversions and verifying readiness for go-live
- Knowledge of financial data conversion testing strategies and methodologies
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to enhance those skills in a challenging, high visibility environment
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
- Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Experience with Agility for testing
- Experience with Financial data and standard financial reporting (e.g., Balance Sheet)
- Documented experience developing and executing automated testing scripts including experience with VA approved automated testing tools such as such as Selenium, Cucumber, Eggplant, or Katalon
