Role Description The Inspection Manager oversees comprehensive facility assessment programs, managing building condition evaluations, compliance inspections, and asset condition reporting. This role ensures properties maintain optimal performance standards while supporting strategic capital planning and risk management initiatives. - Program Management: - Lead facility and Asset condition assessments across portfolio. - Develop and implement standardized inspection protocols and quality control procedures. - Coordinate inspection schedules to minimize tenant disruption and maximize FM travel capability. - Team Collaboration: - Partner with Facility Managers and MTS, ensuring consistent application of assessment criteria and reporting standards. - Provide training on program enhancements and technology platforms. - Data Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze inspection findings to calculate Facility Condition Inspections (FCI) and Asset Condition Inspections (ACI) scores. - Prepare executive summaries and detailed condition reports. - Develop trending analysis and benchmarking studies to support strategic decision-making. - Capital Planning Support: - Collaborate with engineering, facility managers, and client stakeholders to prioritize maintenance and capital improvement projects based on condition assessments. - Provide technical expertise for budget development, planned R&M, and long-term asset planning. - Rough Order of Magnitude Development: - Assist Facilities stakeholders with the development of ROMs to provide clients with a 5yr capital plan leveraging estimating tools and internal dashboards. - Technology and Process Improvement: - Implement and optimize inspection software platforms, mobile data collection tools, and reporting systems. - Continuously evaluate and improve inspection methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications - 5+ years experience in building inspections, facilities management, project management, or construction. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Corrigo, MCIM, and executive presentations. - Technical expertise in building systems. - Strong leadership and project management abilities. - Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting. - Attention to detail for accurate condition assessments.
