Department Summary The Center for Anatomical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center is located in the prestigious Cultural District of Fort Worth, TX. Our mission is to offer exceptional educational activities and to advance research in the anatomical sciences and allied fields. Research strengths in the Center for Anatomical Sciences include biological anthropology, evolutionary biology, forensic sciences, biomechanics/functional morphology, and histology. The Center encompasses 8,000-square-feet of anatomy laboratories that support anatomical education, research, and outreach. The Center also houses dedicated research laboratories equipped for medical imaging analysis/morphometrics, forensic anthropology, thermoregulatory studies (environmental chamber), histology, and paleontological fossil preparation. Center for Anatomical Sciences teaches dissection and prosection-based anatomy courses to Medical, Physical Therapy, Physician’s Assistant, and Master of Medical Science students. Position Overview The Donation Coordinator provides remote support for the donated body program during overnight hours. This role involves answering incoming calls, guiding callers through donation procedures, and collecting and documenting necessary information according to established protocols. The Donation Coordinator will verify eligibility for the program, assist families with completing required paperwork, coordinate and dispatch transportation teams, and ensure all calls and actions are accurately logged and communicated for follow-up. This role is often the first point of contact for families, healthcare providers, and facilities during sensitive moments. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to communicate both orally and written. - Proficient with Microsoft Office.
