Role Description RYZ Labs is hiring for a Data Center Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical facilities and equipment, ensuring continuous reliability and uptime. Day/night shifts and on-call required. - Schedule, execute, and document PMs via CMMS. - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, UPS, PDUs, generators, switchgear). - Monitor via BMS/DCIM; respond to alarms and performance issues. - Follow SOP/MOP/EOPs, LOTO, and safety standards; support RCAs and corrective actions. - Coordinate vendors/contractors and manage spare parts inventory. Qualifications - 3+ years in data center or critical facility maintenance. - Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, and controls/BMS. - Proficient with test equipment (multimeter, IR camera, power analyzer) and CMMS. - Safety-focused; familiar with NFPA 70/70E and OSHA; able to work shifts/on-call. - Certifications a plus: EPA 608, CFC, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, CDCDP/CDCEP. Role Description The Estimator will provide essential inside technical support, assisting our Outside Sales Engineers in generating estimates for HVAC materials on commercial and industrial projects. - Review Plans and Specifications: Analyze construction plans to generate accurate material quotations from our diverse product lines. - Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales teams to promote and support the sale of HVAC equipment, ensuring exceptional service for customers. - Material Take-Offs: Utilize software to create detailed material take-off lists from construction drawings. - Equipment Selection and Pricing: Accurately select and price equipment based on specifications and manufacturer data. Cross reference material when we are not basis of design. - Quotation Development: Work closely with Sales Engineers to produce strategic quotations and ensure prompt distribution to contractors. - Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with Sales, factory representatives, and customers to facilitate timely and accurate quotes. - Initial Plan Reviews: Conduct initial reviews of plans and coordinate with appropriate factories for pricing. - Special Discount Requests: Submit approval requests efficiently while managing the bid list. - Manage Workload: Effectively maintain focus in a deadline-driven environment. Qualifications - Education: Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering), Building Construction degree, or comparable industry experience. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial HVAC products. - Technical Aptitude: Strong technical knowledge with attention to detail. - Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational abilities and effective time management skills. - Software Proficiency: Proficient in Windows-based software, with basic math skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities. - Adaptability: Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. • Independently assess community water and wastewater infrastructure needs and identify practical, cost-effective solutions • Develop clear, well-organized planning documents and technical reports, including Preliminary Engineering Reports (PERs) • Prepare preliminary and detailed project designs that municipalities can use to secure infrastructure funding • Lead meetings with community stakeholders to gather information, present recommendations, and foster project support and engagement • Depending on your experience and expertise, contribute to additional project areas, such as evaluating and promoting innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies, analyzing the design, cost, and environmental impacts of infrastructure projects, or supporting other related technical initiatives.
