Senior Delivery Manager

• Manage daily resources and schedules to ensure team availability and commitments are adhered to, aligning resource allocation with project demands. • Work with client teams to address any emerging needs for additional resources based on forecasted capacity planning, ensuring project requirements are met efficiently. • Track spend on the project thus giving the PMO valuable information about what each project is costing, thereby helping with forward planning. • Manage the team charter and operational definitions by reviewing these documents early and often, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that operational practices are effective and productive. • Guide the team in exercises like planning and estimation in order to give the Product Strategist a view of the relative size of the features and an indication of when they can be delivered. • Collaborate closely with the Product Strategist to ensure that backlog items are clearly defined and prioritized, facilitating swift action on these items when team members are available. • Manage and maintain comprehensive project plans and/or release plans, ensuring all tasks are accurately defined, assigned, and have clear durations and current status updates. • Track and communicate overall team health, delivery progress, commitments, budget, and timelines, ensuring transparency through regular updates and detailed reporting to internal and external stakeholders. • Actively manage Agile boards to ensure healthy workflow, adherence to WIP limits, timely task completion, and optimal use of team capacity, including swarming and backlog pull when appropriate. • Identify and actively remove blockers or impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring the team remains focused on delivery. • Facilitate conflict resolution. • Facilitate productive and effective team meetings including scrum ceremonies following Agile methodologies.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years' of experience as a Delivery Manager / Scrum Master
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager / Scrum Master in software development environments working amongst complex projects with team sized from 4 to 10 members
- Strong understanding and provide experience in Agile methodologies.
- Certifications in Scrum (CSM, PSM) and/or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Must be proficient with English language.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in software and project management tools (Zoho Sprints, Smartsheet, Jira)
