Manager, Clinical Revenue Integrity
USC Race and Equity Center
• Manage the charge capture team and support unit and the area specific charge capture of clinical services and procedures • Communicate missing or incomplete clinical documentation and charge entry errors for clinical department process improvement • Deliver direction to the documentation of all policies and procedures regarding charge capture and CDM Maintenance • Conduct meetings to evaluate department charge processes to improve charge capture and coding compliance • Coordinate with Keck Medical Center of USC Administration, IS, Compliance, Clinical Informatics and Integration personnel on technology projects impacting charge entry, charge dictionaries, and charge • Provide data derived from multiple entities of Keck Medical Center of USC for the management and support of critical decisions and functions related the improvement of charge capture • Respond to inquiries regarding Chargemaster and charge entry issues and supervise meetings for projects associated with educating and communicating to clinical revenue generating departmental staff regarding the CDM Maintenance process, coding updates, compliance issues, and charge capture improvement • Work closely with revenue auditors and provide leadership by providing direction to the revenue auditor team to all entities of Keck Medical Center of USC in the research and resolution of requests in a timely manner • Aid in the training and skill development of auditors to maximize available tools for Chargemaster and billing compliance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree In healthcare related field
- 5 years Experience in medical coding/ Chargemaster experience in a healthcare environment required
- Experience with inpatient and outpatient billing requirements (UB-04) and CMS Medicare reimbursement methodology
- Knowledge of other government and third party payer reimbursement methodology required
- Must be able to implement a systematic, self-motivated approach to problem solving and be able to identify, coordinate and optimize resources needed to execute plans
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning and evaluation skills
- Demonstrates ability to utilize effective, appropriate and diplomatic oral and written communication skills

Role Description The Manager, Fund and Partner Development is an experienced fundraiser and strategic relationship builder, who will support the Director, Development, the Executive Director and the Foundation Team in expanding and further diversifying revenue generation into new geographic and demographic areas – corporate, institutional, and foundations, in Canada and globally, to achieve the external fundraising goals of the organization. This position is primarily remote based, with travel across Canada and potentially the US, and will report to the Director, Development, CWB Welding Foundation and work with management and staff across the Foundation and the CWB Group of Companies. Key responsibilities include: - Fundraising and Donor Development - Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors to meet annual fundraising goals. - Support the development of a fundraising business plan, containing strategies related to individual donors and prospects including identification, qualification, cultivation and successful solicitation. - Identify and propose potential fundraising programs/initiatives in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Foundation and Community Investment and sponsorship priorities of potential funders and granting agencies. - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Foundation programs to create opportunities for donor engagement. - Engage with and professionally support community and volunteers in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. - Prepare compelling and strategic fundraising materials including, but not limited to, information briefs, cases for support, briefing notes, proposals, grants, sponsorship materials and stewardship reports. - Liaise with marketing/communications/digital and donor relations support personnel to develop fundraising and recognition materials. - Develop and maintain accurate, professional and current records, actions and reports. - Assist in the preparation of an annual plan of measurable goals and strategies (including precise and practical deadlines), to maximize commitments. - Report fundraising activities (including names of volunteers to recruit/visit, solicitation calls, cultivation calls) at team meetings and ensures that these actions are recorded in the Foundation’s database. - Act as an ambassador throughout the community and constituents, positively representing the Foundation and CWB Group. - Partnership Development, Management and Communications - Identify, engage and build formal and informal relationships with like-minded organizations with complementary interests and programs that align with the purpose and strategic vision of the Foundation. - Research - Gain understanding of the future and current employment needs, and financial needs of major industry sectors, skills gaps and shortages, being addressed by CWBWF. - Gain and develop keen awareness of the skill based, accreditation, and other educational gaps of the current workforce as well as evolving requirements for successful career paths within the welding and joining industry, across provincial and international markets. - Manage a portfolio of 80-120 active relationships: prospects (identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship) for funding and partnership, using a focused and accountable approach of strategy development, cultivation, solicitation, and implementation. - Donor Communications and Stewardship - Engage with and professionally support business partners and volunteers in qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities. - Develop and implement relationship management strategies and timelines. - Work closely with donor relations staff to determine the best strategies for effective stewardship of donors. - Lead and collaborate in the development and publication of all necessary materials, proposals (philanthropic and sponsorship), cases for support, letters, reports and acknowledgments for cultivation and stewardship of partners. - WORK LOCATION: will need to live in Pennsylvania The Provider Contracting Manager serves as an integral member of the Provider Contracting Team and reports to the AVP, Provider Contracting. This role assists in developing the strategic direction and management of the day to day contracting and network management activities for a local given territory.
