District Manager Trainee

• Responsible for all aspects of management including People, Operations, and Financial • Leads a team of 10-14 Restaurant Managers (RM’s) • Develops a guest centric culture that provides excellent customer service • Develops and maintains business strategies for traffic, check, and overall revenue growth • Coaches RM’s to implement local store marketing strategies • Empowers their team to resolve any guest issues in the moment • Recruits, interviews, selects, hires, and completes onboarding for all RM’s and RMT’s • Conducts annual performance evaluations and provides positive feedback • Implements progressive discipline to address deficiencies in performance • Engages in personal development and inspires their team • Operates restaurants at Brand and Company standards • Completes reports on all incidents following our 5-minute rule policy • Ensures product quality, food safety, cleanliness, general safety, and operational standards are met • Conducts Quick Visits, Cash Audits, and Inventory audits per schedule requirements • Takes ownership for all people, operational, and financial metrics, resulting in profitable restaurants • Tracks and reports all changes in the business environment • Monitors and analyzes financial performance of the restaurants • Conducts root cause analysis and partners with RM’s to implement effective solutions to problems

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years restaurant multi-unit management experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Valid state Driver’s License required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Serv Safe© Manager and Proctor certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

An overview of this role As the Manager, Solutions Architects for our Enterprise team in North America, you'll lead a distributed group of intermediate and senior Solutions Architects serving enterprise customers in the West sales territory. You'll guide your team to act as trusted advisors to GitLab prospects and customers, helping them validate GitLab's Enterprise Edition as the right technical and business solution and supporting successful adoption of the GitLab platform across the entire software development lifecycle. You'll hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team, set clear expectations, and be accountable for how your team runs complex technical evaluations, articulates business outcomes, and collaborates with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing. You'll model the work of a Solutions Architect yourself, from solution design through technical presentations, so your team is equipped to drive meaningful customer change with GitLab. We operate in a fully remote, asynchronous way across North America, using GitLab and our handbook-first approach to stay aligned on strategy, share technical best practices, and continuously improve how we support the sales cycle. Key opportunities for our team include deepening technical adoption of GitLab Enterprise Edition, connecting customer business goals with architectural recommendations, and serving as strong product advocates in the field. The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location.
