Role Description AECOM is seeking a Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution with a passion for driving results to join our high-performing energy practice team. In this role, the project manager will plan, direct, and execute moderate to large sized projects to support electric utilities. Our Project Managers are AECOM’s leaders readily managing, leading project teams, and delivering technical excellence, to provide client satisfaction through the use of structured processes and tools. The successful candidate will: - Use their strong working knowledge of transmission electric utilities to manage the full life cycle of substation or transmission projects. - Be responsible for design, permitting, construction, community engagement, and establishing/achieving critical project milestones. - Utilize strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills to collaborate and lead project stakeholders. - Work closely with the Project Team to confirm deliverables and services are being provided to exceed client satisfaction, including coordination with team members across the world. - Identify project opportunities early and facilitate go/no-go decisions, determine project fees, write proposals, prepare and lead client presentations, and negotiate contracts. - Support development and maintenance of business plan; lead and support proposal efforts to support profitable growth. - Enjoy building teams, capturing new work, and growing client relationships. - Take ownership of internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management. - Be results-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills. - Enjoy managing projects that vary in size and complexity in multiple locations. Qualifications - Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. - Project Management experience directly related to transmission and substation engineering projects. - Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects and/or programs with high quality on schedule and within scope and budget. - Preferred Qualifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP). - 7 Years of relevant experience, including project management program management engineering of transmission and substation work. This role is pivotal in assisting with the implementation of security hardening and integration projects related to a large-scale acquisition. • Develop and manage project plans for CRM integration projects within HubSpot. • Involved in every aspect of the project, including discovery, implementation, UAT, change management, and integrations. • Manage project scope, assess requirements, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects. • Develop a project plan that meets stakeholder needs and delivers outcomes within budget. • Partner with Resource Managers for resource allocation and manage project documentation. • Monitor project progress and provide updates, ensuring alignment with client goals. • Analyze project performance, identify areas for improvement, and manage project risks.

• The Project Manager serves as the single point of leadership and accountability for the successful delivery of all Network Infrastructure Maintenance and Support Services to the Research Institute client. • Responsible for establishing a seamless partnership with the Client’s Project Leader, ensuring flawless execution of all contractual requirements, and proactively managing all aspects of service delivery to provide the best value and lowest risk to Client. • Drive the program's success by aligning team performance with the client's mission, guaranteeing compliance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and delivering transparent, timely, and actionable reporting. • Act as the primary point of contact for the Client’s Project Leader, fostering a collaborative and transparent relationship. • Lead all client-facing meetings, including the initial Kickoff Meeting, Monthly Status Meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews. • Manage contract performance subject to the technical direction of the Client Project Leader, ensuring all work remains within the defined scope and statement of work. • Oversee the entire deliverable lifecycle, from submission to formal written acceptance by Client, and manage the resolution process for any rejected deliverables. • Provide ultimate oversight for all service areas, including Network Monitoring and Maintenance, Technical Support, Cloud Connectivity, Disaster Recovery, and Documentation. • Rigorously monitor and report on SLA performance, including network uptime, incident response/resolution times, and help desk availability, ensuring all targets are met or exceeded. • Manage the team’s adherence to Client’s change management process for all maintenance and configuration changes. • Ensure the timely creation and delivery of all required reports, including Monthly Status Reports, SLA Performance Reports, Network Performance Reports, and Incident Response Reports. • Oversee the development and maintenance of the comprehensive Project Management Plan, Transition-In/Transition-Out Plans, and all network documentation and diagrams. • Serve as the final quality assurance checkpoint for all documentation to ensure it meets Client’s high standards. • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan consistent with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBK) framework. • Lead and direct the technical team, prioritizing activities, managing resources, and ensuring all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities. • Implement ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices across all service delivery processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
