• Ensure that they are meeting the number of PR opportunities assigned to them on a monthly basis • Proactively pitch academic thought leaders to national, local and industry media outlets • Work with Director of Comms on client strategy calls for clients • Ensure all reporting is completed in a timely manner • Work with Director of Comms to address any larger client issues and communicate regularly any concerns that are forthcoming • Lead peg meetings and internal calls where appropriate • Stay on top of industry trends for clients • Build media and faculty relationships • Utilize SEO practices to improve overall PR performance and look for opportunities to collaborate with SEO team to showcase to clients how our services work together • Participate in content brainstorms from a faculty and persona standpoint
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing or a media driven field
- Experience working with the media. Either pitching media or writing for the media
- Master’s degree in communications or marketing related field preferred
- Experience using Cision, Muckrack or another PR software
- Established media relationships
- Experience building communications plans
- Experience working with faculty, experts or stakeholders
