• Develop and execute the sales strategy for one or two strategic business pillars. • Identify, prospect, and engage high-quality outbound leads. • Build relationships with financial institutions (banks, trading firms, asset managers, exchanges) and ecosystem partners. • Lead discovery meetings to understand customer challenges and identify opportunities. • Accurately qualify opportunities and forecast pipeline. • Own the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting through signed contracts. • Originate, lead, and close Canton Foundation Development Fund opportunities. • Work closely with Sales Engineers to scope technical engagements. • Ensure contracts accurately capture project scope and customer expectations. • Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data within HubSpot. • Ensure a smooth transition from Sales to Delivery after contracts are signed. • Build long-term relationships within the Canton ecosystem and broader blockchain and traditional finance industries. • Represent Obsidian Systems at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings. • Continuously improve sales processes, tooling, and reporting.

• Drive impactful client projects from inception through successful delivery. • Manage multiple concurrent software development projects for key clients in the UK and Europe, from initiation to completion. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules. • Facilitate clear communication between client teams, engineering, and other stakeholders. • Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers—taking action to mitigate them early. • Regularly update project management system (Linear) and escalate critical blockers or risks to keep projects on track. • Organize and run agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. • Track and communicate project progress, KPIs, and milestones to leadership and other stakeholders. • Foster seamless collaboration among remote teams across different time zones. • Advocate for and implement best practices in software development and agile project management.

• Collaborate closely with our instructional designer, who owns the content and scripts • Cover all aspects of production, including capturing, editing, and delivering videos that truly help developers learn and succeed • Produce 12 videos, resulting in approximately 4.25 hours of finished instructional content • Create narrated screen recordings of live coding sessions in terminal and IDE environments • Develop animated slide presentations with voiceover • Edit professionally finished videos featuring chapter markers, lower-thirds, timestamps, and accurate transcripts

• Own engineer accountability on delivery • Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team • Own performance management and career development for all engineers • Own hiring and onboarding for all engineering roles • Build and manage a rotation assignment program • Champion engineering methodology and cultural values • Own internal security practices and compliance accountability • Oversee incident and change management processes

• Build and maintain backend services and integration layers for distributed, multi-party applications • Work in Scala and TypeScript • Daily client interaction as part of a consulting project team

• As a Software Engineer at Obsidian, you’ll work on challenging projects across diverse domains—fintech, blockchain, AI, data science, and more. • You’ll collaborate with a fully remote, distributed team of experts to design and build software systems that are robust, scalable, and impactful. • Your work will involve: designing and developing new applications and systems, writing clean, testable, and well-documented code, participating in thoughtful code reviews and architecture discussions, debugging, optimizing, and improving existing systems, contributing to testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes, exploring new technologies and applying them to real-world problems

• Execute ecosystem growth campaigns across B2B channels (e.g., LinkedIn, industry publications) • Drive adoption and engagement across the Canton Network • Manage multi-channel prospect nurture sequences for ecosystem expansion • Coordinate product launches and token integration announcements • Track network growth and engagement metrics • Create and deliver multi-step email campaigns • Develop technical marketing content for financial services audiences • Create educational materials on blockchain concepts for finance professionals • Write thought leadership articles to position Obsidian Systems in enterprise DeFi • Produce case studies, white papers, and compliance-driven marketing collateral • Support conference speaking engagements and industry panel participation • Build relationships with trade publications, analysts, and financial media • Partner with leadership on narrative positioning across X (Twitter) and industry media • Maintain CRM (HubSpot) data and prospect databases • Manage website content and updates • Set up marketing automation and tracking systems • Generate campaign and network analytics reports • Collaborate with leadership on commentary across digital and industry platforms
