Role Description GD Resources LLC is seeking qualified Title IX Advisors / Resource Persons to provide procedural guidance and case support related to sexual misconduct response processes. This role supports individuals navigating formal complaint procedures by providing clear information about policies, timelines, and procedural steps while maintaining strict neutrality. The Advisor serves as an informational resource and does not act as an advocate, legal advisor, or representative for any party. The position requires strong knowledge of sexual misconduct response processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally in sensitive situations using trauma-informed practices. Work is performed remotely on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities - Procedural Guidance - Respond to questions related to sexual misconduct complaint procedures and applicable policies. - Provide clear explanations of investigation and adjudication processes, timelines, and procedural requirements. - Assist individuals in understanding their rights and available institutional resources. - Clarify procedural steps without providing legal advice or advocacy. - Case Coordination and Communication - Maintain communication with designated response teams or program staff regarding procedural status. - Provide updates regarding deadlines, documentation requirements, and review processes. - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure individuals receive accurate procedural information. - Documentation and Case Tracking - Document interactions and procedural guidance provided using a non-PII case management log. - Maintain organized records of case support activities and referrals. - Provide summary reporting of case activity as required. - Referrals and Resource Support - Refer individuals to appropriate institutional or support services when needed (e.g., behavioral health, counseling services, or administrative offices). - Ensure individuals understand where to obtain additional assistance related to their situation. - Safety and Escalation - Identify potential safety concerns and escalate issues to appropriate program officials. - Report concerns if an individual expresses intent that may pose a risk to themselves or others. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, education, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Experience supporting sexual misconduct response, Title IX processes, or institutional complaint procedures. - Strong understanding of sexual misconduct reporting and investigation frameworks. - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally in sensitive or emotionally complex situations. - Experience applying trauma-informed communication practices. - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries. Requirements - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong documentation and organizational abilities. - High level of discretion and professionalism. - Ability to maintain neutrality in complex situations. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. In this flexible, home-based role, BCBAs will work within a 75-mile radius of one or more of the following Texas locations: Nacogdoches, Kaufman, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Terrell, and Longview. You will partner with families and supervise RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) who provide direct in-home services. This is an independent contractor position, offering the autonomy to set your own schedule while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families via telehealth consultations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments (e.g., FBA, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R) and develop individualized treatment plans. - Provide ongoing supervision and support to RBTs working directly with clients. - Deliver direct telehealth and in-home BCBA services as clinically appropriate. - Train caregivers and collaborate with families to promote generalization of skills. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all professional and ethical guidelines set by the BACB. - Coordinate with internal staff to ensure quality service delivery and clinical integrity.
