Role Description The Assistant General Counsel, Government Contracts provides legal guidance on federal, state, and local government contracts and subcontracts. This role focuses on: - Reviewing and negotiating contract provisions - Advising internal teams on rights and obligations under government agreements - Supporting compliance, investigations, and bid protest matters This position partners closely with business teams, the Legal Department, and executive leadership to mitigate contractual risk while supporting Conduent’s government business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of federal contracting regulations, and the ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly to stakeholders across the organization. Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for a Senior Counsel title.
