Program Manager

Sentara Health

• Responsible for the overall management of assigned Program(s) • Drive component project intake as well as program delivery • Work with Business and IT leaders, and Project Managers • Ensure quality completion of business requirements, scope, end user impact, Program dependencies, financials and transition to operations activities • Coach Project Managers in Project Delivery excellence • Provides advice, counsel, and insight to PMs on leading projects to completion • Advocate for Project Management Methodology and assist teams with adoption.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors
  • 8 years related experience in lieu of degree
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required within 1 year of hire
  • 8 years of Project Management preferred
  • 3 years of healthcare
  • 3 years of Information Technology and/or Analytics required
  • Strong Program Management required
  • Must be an expert in Microsoft programs.
