Vice President of Finance

LearnLux

• Act as the strategic finance partner to the CEO, COO, and Board, providing insight into business performance, capital efficiency, and long-term financial planning. • Own and evolve FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial planning to support growth and decision-making. • Lead and oversee accounting operations, working closely with an outsourced accounting firm to ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with GAAP. • Build scalable financial processes, controls, and systems to support a growing B2B2C fintech business. • Prepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board, with a focus on transparency and predictability. • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Client Success, People, and Legal teams to align financial planning with company priorities. • Support go-to-market efforts through pricing analysis, renewals, revenue forecasting, and unit economics. • Manage tax, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with external partners. • Contribute to capital planning, investor communications, and future fundraising preparation as needed. • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, and financial rigor as the company scales. • Help define the roadmap for building an internal finance team over time, while remaining deeply involved in execution.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology-enabled businesses.
  • Experience in the benefits and wellness industry is heavily preferred
  • Proven experience building and operating finance functions in Series A+ or growth-stage startups.
  • Strong background in FP&A, accounting oversight, and financial operations, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience partnering closely with CEOs, COOs, and Boards, with comfort operating under close executive oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and take full ownership in environments with limited structure.
  • Familiarity with global financial operations, including contractors and multi-currency considerations.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as QuickBooks, Brex, Ramp, Carta, and HubSpot (or similar).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA, CPA, or equivalent credentials are a plus.

The Financial Analyst analyzes, reports, and projects financial data to manage ongoing operations and drive strategic initiatives at Employbridge.
