Job Description
Payroll Coordinator
Ensemble Performing Arts
• Compile and analyze payroll data from business locations across the country • Triage and resolve payroll errors and processing issues • Manage employee inquiries regarding payroll • Process guaranteed payments and other manual payroll adjustments when required • Maintain accurate employee records in HRS • Support payroll system integrations for new acquisitions, including employee data preparation and onboarding and employee support • Maintain SharePoint files, templates, and reports • Prepare and maintain payroll reports • Support government reporting requirements, including U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics submissions and unemployment claims • Prepare and submit non-payroll tax filings when required • Support annual workers’ compensation filings and audits
Job Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience with core payroll functions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel skills
