Job Description

Head of Growth – Wellness, DTC Brands

Tharp Ventures

• Develop and execute full-funnel growth strategies across paid media, email, landing pages, and CRO. • Identify the levers that actually move revenue — and pull them relentlessly. • Build testing roadmaps for creative, audiences, offers, and messaging. Know what's working and why. • Set KPIs, forecast growth, and hold yourself accountable to results. • Serve as the strategic partner to founders and executives. They should see you as their outsourced CMO. • Run client calls with confidence. Present strategies, walk through performance, and make recommendations they trust. • Push back when clients have bad ideas. Earn respect through results and clarity, not agreeableness. • Direct a world-class team — all provided by us. • Set clear briefs, manage workflows, and ensure the team delivers work that matches your strategic vision. • Give feedback that makes creative and copy sharper. Elevate the output. • Write and refine copy that converts — ads, emails, landing pages, product positioning. • Understand what makes wellness consumers tick. Speak their language authentically. • Brief creative with clarity. Know the difference between "good design" and "design that sells." • Live in Shopify, GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam, or whatever attribution setup the client uses. • Understand CAC, LTV, MER, ROAS, and contribution margin — and make decisions based on real math, not vanity metrics. • Run CRO experiments and know how to read results without fooling yourself.

Job Requirements

  • You've scaled DTC brands past $5M+ in revenue and can prove it.
  • You've led growth or marketing at a brand or agency for 5+ years — ideally both.
  • You know the wellness space deeply. Blue light, supplements, functional medicine, biohacking, longevity — this world makes sense to you and you're genuinely interested in it.
  • You're dangerous in Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Shopify analytics.
  • You can write. Not "review copy" — actually write hooks, angles, and copy that convert.
  • You're client-ready. Founders trust you. You communicate with clarity, confidence, and zero fluff.
  • You lead teams without micromanaging. You set the bar high, give clear direction, and hold people accountable.
  • You're strategic but not precious. You'll get in the weeds when needed.
  • You're hungry. You want to build something, not just manage accounts.

Benefits

  • $8,000–$12,000/month USD (depending on experience) + performance bonuses tied to client growth
  • Fully remote
  • US or Canada preferred — must overlap with US Eastern time
  • Candidates with wellness brand experience strongly preferred
