Supported by 3,000 local adult volunteers and mentors, Girl Scouts lead the way as they discover who they are and how they can make the future a brighter place – all while gaining experiences in entrepreneurship with financial literacy, life skill development, outdoor education, and STEM. The Program Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the continuity and growth of programs by developing, implementing, and administering year-round opportunities which meet the contemporary needs of girls aged 5-17, and to work with volunteers to offer membership and program extension. Role and Responsibilities: - This position supports the CH-53 Government Flight Test Director (GFTD) and Lead Test Engineer (LTE) at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two One (HX-21), NAS Patuxent River. - Provide independent support on all aspects and analysis of (Y)CH-53K test aircraft challenges to include project planning, unique engineering special inspections, configuration audits, and analytical evaluation of the overall effectiveness of the test effort in support of program/project objectives. - Provide continuous interface with the HX-21 test squadron, Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL), NAVAIR Program Offices, and logistics support leadership to monitor performance and conduct joint short-, mid-, and long-term planning for the sustainment of the test assets assigned and related support personnel. - Support and provide subject matter expertise, management, business analyses, mentorship, and technical leadership to CH-53 test team members. - Analyze daily activities of test team disciplines (including Maintenance, Configuration Management, Platform Coordination, Aviation Program Team) and provide recommendations to improve efficiency of test operations. - Assist in tracking life limits for non-standard aircraft components by researching engineering data, comparing Development Assembly Record Cards (DARC-EI) with standard Periodic Maintenance Information Cards (PMIC); documenting and report findings. - Assist the GFTD and LTE with planning the aircraft operating and maintenance budget, determine resources and allocation of those resources to support program/project execution on cost and schedule, and plan and monitor the technical and professional training of maintenance personnel. - This position is eligible for Remote and/or Situational Telework. Basic Qualifications: - BS/BA & 12 years of military aviation maintenance experience, or a high school diploma or GED and 20 years of military aviation maintenance experience is required. - Must have experience as a senior multi-disciplinary leader that is recognized as a technical expert and spokesperson for the troubleshooting, design, and maintenance of assigned test assets. - Proficiency in interpreting varied forms of technical documentation beyond standard manuals, including engineering drawings, supplemental Engineering Instructions (EIs) such as DARC‑EI, PMIC and engineering dispositions. - Efficient in logistics concepts, organizational and intermediate level aircraft maintenance; (QA) quality assurance; and have comprehensive knowledge of the policies, processes, and procedures regarding the planning, funding, and execution of life cycle support of the test aircraft assigned, including sponsor goals and milestones, fiscal constraints, and resource limitations while tracking program/project status and schedules. - Two years of CH-53K experience within an RDT&E/T&Esquadron is required & demonstrated experience with developmental test (DT) aircraft maintenance programs, including the management of non-standard repairs and engineering disposition processes. - Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: - Prior NATOPS Instructor experience - Experience serving as a technical liaison between government program offices, test organizations, and contractors, with a proven ability to communicate maintenance status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership. - Experience developing and managing training programs or qualification pathways for aviation maintenance personnel, including syllabus development and workforce readiness initiatives. - Experience preparing detailed reports, metrics, and briefings for program leadership, supporting data‑driven decisions related to maintenance planning, readiness, and test execution.
