The Therapeutic Intake Coordinator conducts comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations (CPT 90791) for new patients entering care, ensuring thorough assessments that support accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment planning, and a smooth transition to ongoing care with our prescribing providers. - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic evaluations (CPT 90791) for new patients, including clinical history, presenting concerns, psychosocial background, and mental status examination. - Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EMR in accordance with Ally Psychiatry standards and regulatory requirements. - Identify provisional diagnoses and initial treatment recommendations based on assessment findings. - Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure seamless transition into ongoing psychiatric care. - Screen for safety concerns including suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, abuse, or neglect, and follow appropriate clinical protocols when risk is identified. - Provide psychoeducation to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and available resources. - Maintain a consistent evaluation schedule to support patient access and clinic capacity goals. - Participate in clinical team meetings, case consultation, and quality improvement initiatives.
