• Responsible for Application Engineering activities for Conveyor Products. • Implement the segment's strategy while maintaining balance between strategic initiatives and operational tasks. • Provide on-site support and troubleshooting applications for our main customer in Arizona. • Initiate and supervise implementation of related Application Engineering activities (Customer projects, technical changes, quality improvements) • Conduct field inspections, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for Conveyor Products • Safeguard committed standards of quality guidelines (internal and external), quality awareness, customer quality targets and observes customer care commitments • Segment strategy development and execution with their area of responsibility including deployment to and through their teams. • Analyze the market and technology and provide input to business strategies • Align with Product Development and Product Management of requirements and needs for the region • Attend strategic meetings with customers, conferences etc. to provide technical input or present the best engineered solution as possible • Select and suggest best suited product specification for the application
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering(preferred) or related technical degree.
- 2+ years of experience in application engineering or a comparable function in the mining industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong MS Office suite experience (Excel and PPT)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Up to 50% travel to customer sites for application support, project execution, and field troubleshooting
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Role Description The Application Engineer serves as a trusted technical resource, ensuring the accurate and effective use of Nook and Thomson products across a wide range of customer applications. The Sr. Field Applications Specialist (FAS) is responsible for the validation of new Chemistry and Immunoassay instrument installations to meet Beckman Coulter and customer requirements. They collaborate with customer Key Operators during validation to reinforce training and ensure readiness.
