Role Description Plan A is looking for a Partnership Manager to own and elevate our relationships with the world’s most influential technology ecosystems: Amazon’s AWS, Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and others. You must have experience working with at least one, and ideally two or more of these companies. Your mission is to position Plan A Technologies as a "go-to" partner for these platforms. You will manage the certifications, opportunities, leads, case studies, the co-sell motions, and the high-level relationships. - Alliance Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership roadmap for Amazon, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Salesforce. - Co-Sell Leadership: Drive "Partner-Originated" and "Partner-Influenced" revenue by connecting Plan A’s sales team with the relevant Account Executives and PDM counterparts at our partner organizations. - Tier Advancement: Proactively manage the requirements for partner tiering (e.g., AWS Competencies, Microsoft Solutions Partner designations) to ensure Plan A maintains elite status. - Marketplace Management: Oversee our presence in the AWS Marketplace and Azure Marketplace and GCP to streamline procurement for our clients. - Enablement & Advocacy: Educate partner sales teams on Plan A’s unique value proposition so they can feel confident referring us to their customers. - Event & Field Marketing: Represent Plan A at major summits (re:Invent, Dreamforce, Ignite) to deepen executive relationships. Qualifications - The Ideal Profile: You have previously sat on the "other side" of the desk as a Partner Development Manager or Partner Success Manager at a major cloud provider. Direct experience working within the partner ecosystems of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Salesforce is required. - Experience: 5+ years of experience in Channel Management, Business Development, or Strategic Alliances within the tech sector. - Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) and Enterprise SaaS ecosystems. You don't need to code, but you must be able to speak and understand the language of our technical partners. - Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep familiarity with partner portals (e.g., AWS Partner Central, Microsoft Partner Center, Salesforce Partner Community, Google Cloud Partner Network). - Network: An existing "rolodex" of contacts within these major tech organizations is a significant advantage. - Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required for the ability to navigate complex, multi-layered organizations. Benefits - Salary: You’ll receive a mix of base salary and performance-based commission. All commissions are based on gross revenue and are uncapped, so the sky is the limit. - Location: Work From Home 100% of the time, or come into one of our global offices. Up to you. - Great colleagues and an upbeat work environment: You'll join an excellent team of people who work hard but don't ever compete with each other. - Vacation, Brand New Laptop, and More: You’ll get a generous vacation schedule, and other goodies.
