Role Description The Technical Integration Manager is responsible for owning EP Wealth’s technology integration processes for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This role leads the technology workstream end-to-end—overseeing IT due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close technology integration. Partnering closely with Partnership Integration, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Business leaders, this role ensures technology integrations are executed securely, efficiently, and in alignment with EP Wealth’s partnership model, governance standards, and advisor-first experience. What You’ll Do - M&A Technology Leadership - Lead the technology integration workstream for multiple concurrent transactions, from diligence through post-close execution. - Act as the senior technology point of contact for transaction-related activities, advising teams on complexity, cost, and timing. - Translate technical findings into clear, executive-ready insights to support integration decisions. - Lead and facilitate cross-functional integration work sessions with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure alignment, share key project information, and communicate progress against milestones and deliverables. - Collaborate on improvements to scale team capabilities, tools, and processes to support EP Wealth’s continued growth through partnerships. - IT Due Diligence & Integration Execution - Lead IT due diligence activities, including system reviews, documentation requests, and SME engagement. - Collaborates on assessments of acquired firms’ technology environments, cybersecurity posture, data architecture, and vendor landscape. - Manages Day 1 technology readiness planning, including access provisioning, data considerations, vendor coordination, and platform transitions. - Oversee post-close integration activities such as system migrations, data transfers, application rationalization, and legacy system and technology services decommissioning. - Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and integration progress reporting to senior leadership. - Build strong relationships with acquired firms and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth partnership transition. - Process & Platform Maturity - Own and evolve EP Wealth’s M&A technology integration playbooks, templates, and best practices. - Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across integration efforts. Qualifications - 8+ years of experience leading technology projects, integrations, or complex cross-functional initiatives. - Proven experience leading teams in an M&A, integration, consulting, or transformation environment. - Direct experience supporting technology due diligence and post-close integration for acquisitions or partnerships. - Background in wealth management, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments preferred. - Strong understanding of IT environments, including applications, infrastructure, data migration, cybersecurity, and vendor management. - Ability to assess integration risk, scalability, and operational impact in a deal context. - Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and confidently. - High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling confidential and transaction-sensitive information. - Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, Agile, or technology certifications a plus. • Own end-to-end execution of ML programs across data collection, labeling, training, evaluation, and on-device deployment—defining scope, milestones, risks, and success metrics tied to accuracy, latency, and in-store experience. • Build and maintain cross-functional plans with computer vision/ML, Android, hardware, MLOps, data engineering, QA, and field operations; run cadences, surface tradeoffs, and drive on-time, high-quality releases. • Lead data operations at scale, including in-store capture, synthetic generation, and third-party annotation—setting data quality bars, SLAs, and privacy standards in partnership with Legal and Security. • Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks that connect offline metrics and on-device performance to business outcomes (e.g., recognition accuracy, shrink reduction, throughput), including pilots and A/B tests in stores. • Drive deployment readiness and reliability: model packaging for edge devices, rollout plans, monitoring and alerting, incident response, and postmortems with clear, actionable follow-ups. • Communicate program status and insights to stakeholders and executives; proactively manage dependencies and risks across a ~25-person cross-functional org and external vendors.
