Marketing Director – Video Games
Mob Entertainment
• Devise publishing strategies for Mob Entertainment, including branding strategy, publishing timeline, distribution platform negotiation, and pricing strategy • Design product go-to-market strategy and drive publishing objectives to be achieved • Lead and continually enhance publishing center organization framework to best integrate brand, product planning, marketing, live ops, partnerships, community & competitive gaming capabilities; • Stay current with evolving market insights and use demands, and explore new product development opportunities • Go deep with studio leaders and partner to develop and deliver and innovative go to market marketing strategy that resonates with the designated players base • Iterate on creative concepts to develop a clear identify for new games from the ground up • Build consensus through relationships and leadership across the organization • Develop and implement comprehensive consumer marketing strategies to drive consumer engagement and retention for video games, applications, and all businesses and initiatives within and supported by Mob Entertainment • Create, execute, manage and measure marketing campaigns aimed at achieving the studios goals and retaining users to a video game brand/product • Deliver upon specific OKRs and KPIs as measurement of success for the user acquisition, revenue generation and repeat engagement (clicks, shares and revenue) of our consumer based products and solutions • Collaborate with the Licensing to create engaging and high-converting ads that resonate with our target consumer audience • Manage and optimize advertising budgets across various channels, including but not limited social media, social, search, display, and influencer marketing • Analyze and monitor campaign performance using relevant KPIs, providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and future strategies • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as ad networks, creative agencies, and influencers, to optimize campaign effectiveness • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure continuous growth and innovation within our marketing efforts
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of consumer marketing experience
- Solid track record of AAA game marketing leadership and/or publishing
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience working for a global consumer marketing brand or advertising/marketing agency
- Advanced Google Analytics and dashboard creation for tracking and measurement of campaigns driving to a digital experience
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring global and regional teams while possessing the understanding how to effectively manage remote/global teams
- Solid track record of game marketing leadership and/or publishing
- Track record of premiere games shipped as a product marketer
- Strong understanding of the global gaming market landscape, cultural nuances, and the ability to deliver results across different markets
- Deep regional insights and understanding of game publishing and operations for NA
- Exceptional organizational, analytical & reporting skills
- Entrepreneurial drive and mind-set
- Experience in external partner relationship management
- Strong communication skills to work in a multinational and diverse organization
- A decent team player with strong ability to cooperate and work with remote cross functional teams
- Passion for video games and the entertainment industry.
- Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships with external partners.
