Technical Software Recruiter – In-House
NextPatient
• Own the full-cycle recruiting process for engineering roles (posting → sourcing → screening → coordination → closing) • Review applications and proactively source high-quality passive candidates • Conduct recruiter screening calls to assess experience, communication, values, and role fit • Partner with engineering leadership to define role requirements, screening criteria, and hiring priorities • Coordinate and manage technical interviews led by the engineering team • Maintain clear pipelines, structured feedback loops, and decision timelines • Ensure a consistent, respectful, and high-quality candidate experience • Continuously refine recruiting workflows and interview logistics as the company grows • Act as a steward of our employer brand in technical and professional communities
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience (in-house strongly preferred)
- Proven success hiring senior software engineers in a high-bar environment
- Strong screening instincts and the ability to identify promising candidates before technical interviews
- Comfort owning recruiting operations independently end-to-end
- Excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work closely with engineers while respecting their time
- Comfort operating in a profitable, product-driven, bootstrapped environment
