The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing IT projects for our clients, as well as internal company projects. The IT Project Manager will use industry and iT1 best practices to achieve all goals set for each individual project they manage. This will be accomplished through clear communication with all project stakeholders, efficient resource allocation, scope, budget, and timeline planning.

Job Requirements

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track and measure progress
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using all appropriate tools and methodologies
  • Successfully manage the relationship with clients and all project stakeholders
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Perform risk management to minimize exposure to any potential risks to the company and clients
  • Proactively researches and locates the necessary tools and processes to identify troublesome trends as they develop; analyzes/predicts trends and develops a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with internal customers, clients, manufacturers, and the general public
  • Performs other duties, as necessary
  • Job Qualification Requirements
  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience, IT project management experience is highly desirable
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a passion for managing and completing projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing resources and projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate project scope, status, and any issues with all stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts
  • Ability to conduct and prepare Statements of Work (SOW) and develop client proposals
