Job Requirements
- For Staff: At least 7 years of Product Design experience
- For Principal: At least 10 years of Product Design experience
- At least 2 years at a venture-funded, private startup required
- For Principal: At least 2 years in a role where you are influencing the work of others either through direct management or indirect leadership
- The majority of your experience is in-house working on direct-to-consumer products
- You’ve worked in a high-velocity, experiment-driven environment
- An understanding of when to use the design process and when to shortcut it.
- You can clearly articulate the reasoning behind your design decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of your work and its impact on the business
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to move quickly while producing high-quality work
- Experience leading projects end-to-end, including discovery, problem definition, ideation, and validation
- Experience in launching 0-1 products, not just iterating on something that already exists
- For Principal: A track record of raising the bar for the design practices you have been a member of

Data Center Design Lead

• Lead the end-to-end design of data center infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, and networking systems. • Develop and enforce design standards, best practices, and technical specifications. • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance scalability, energy efficiency, and performance. • Review and approve technical deliverables to ensure regulatory and quality compliance. • Manage, supervise and mentor a team of up to 10 design professionals, providing clear technical direction and support. • Manage multiple concurrent data center projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and timelines are met. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, construction staff, and vendors. • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address design challenges. • Oversee preparation of design documentation (e.g., schematics, blueprints, specifications). • Ensure timely submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation. • Maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
